Dragonball Z Abridged/Fridge

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

Fridge Brilliance

  • If Dragonball Z Abridged goes far enough (not really sure when it happens), Vegeta and Bulma will get married. Vegeta and Bulma are voiced by Lanipator and Megami33 respectively, and they abridge shows featuring characters created by Yoshihiro Togashi and Naoko Takeuchi, one of the most famous couples among manga-ka. So, if Team Four Star reaches that event, it will be kind of like the creators of Sailor Moon and Yu Yu Hakusho marrying again. -- Dsneybuf
    • After Bulma's ship is destroyed on Namek, she says that she hopes to find a man there that isn't Yamcha. She does. - Torquey
  • In Team FourStar's Dragonball Z Abridged, Vegeta reads his scouter upside-down and underestimates Goku's power level at a mere 1,006... which means it is only a single point Over Nine Thousand.
      • Incidentally, that doubles as Fridge Logic, because how exactly can a scouter be upside-down?
        • You can flip the video. Or the screen could rotate.
    • In episode 9, after being frustrated by Nappa's idiocy, Vegeta begins obsessively chanting "9 Minutes, 18 Seconds" as the happiest moment of his life. Skip ahead and that's the exact time he kills Nappa.
    • Also, earlier Vegeta remarks to Nappa "Soon you're going to die, and you'll be out of my hair forever", and the screen flashes EPIC FORESHADOWING, which it is, for Ghost Nappa
  • If Nappa had a Pokeball on Earth, which he threw at Chaoutzu, why didn't he use one in episode 5 to capture the Rancor?
    • Rancor aren't Pokemon.

Fridge Horror

  • When Frieza tells Vegeta that he'll send him crying to his mommy, Vegeta replies that she's dead. To which Frieza replies, I know; meaning not only his father died at his hands, but his mother as well.
