- Kyoraku, the former Captain of Squad Eight, has two swords when his Zanpakuto is in its sealed state. Whereas Ukitake has two separate swords when in Shikai; so both of them have two Zanpakuto spirits according to the filler.
- Both take the form of two young identical twin boys.

It gets worst: some of the prisoners had their stomachs removed surgically while both the intestines and esophagus are still attached. Also, parts of the brain, lungs, liver, etc. were removed on some of the prisoners.
